For grade twelve AP Computer Science we were required to make a website portfolio. We had to summarize the main topics of the course, provide examples of our own work, and document the program we wrote for the final project.
It was written by hand, in pure HTML/CSS, making use of plenty of iframes for all kinds of things (including the navigation bar and previews).
While this did allow me to avoid copy+paste, it's not exactly considered "best practices."
It could be naturally thought of as the ancestor to this very site.
At this point, it is left up as an exemplar for students, coming from the open-endedness of the project (and I did receive a perfect grade on this particular project). It is no longer updated or maintained.
